The Serpenths, seeing the Aeries fussing over each other in the treetops around Subeta, grew jealous--just slightly jealous, they claim.
Without a word, they all slithered off into the night (much to the joy of the smaller species, who would finally have a bit of rest without fear of being eaten), leaving many owners confused as to the whereabouts of their beloved pets.
But of course, they've returned--and brought a surprise with them. No one is quite certain where those patterns came from, but they seem a bit attached.

I don't understand why people are upset over the colors. There are a LOT of colors to choose from. If you don't like common, then use an arid potion o_0. Not that big of a deal. I didn't like how the old version common looked arid, personally.
What happened to the aerie revamp? I thought there was one but now I can't find it in the news...
i like the new version. i just hope the graveyard, hydrus and reborn revamps will be done justice.
I like this a lot! For once I have no complaints about this. It looks so much like a snake, and the art is fantastic.

Not too crazy for the new mane. Needs to be more... flare-y like the old one. Nice new shape, though. Very organic.

Because that is arids color scheme, and it will be black/white. If you want one with those colors, get an arid potion.

Absolutely beautiful revamp... I love the new patterns added to it, and the longer body... The only thing that seems to bother me is the wings... They seem like they should be placed slightly higher, like on the older one. Overall, though, I love it. =3
I love the new body design, I don't mind the colours, but I really dislike the mane. But I don't like the mane too much on the original design, either, so. :X But this is exciting, I'm looking forward to seeing the other colours redrawn!

The lineart is lovely, but the colors kinda fail. Why change the common color palette all of a sudden when there's nothing wrong with the old one? Way to ruin the only decent revamp as of late : Keep the lineart, but make it white and black again.

It's beautiful - I love the colour, since I found the original one to look more 'arid' than anything. The curly 'mane' of sorts is adorable. The markings are very nice. Reminded me of Quetzalcoatl when I looked at it. <3<br />

It's looks fantastic. The other colours will be awesome. The mane looks a bit "curly" but that's a very minor thing.

The tongue is a really nice touch though and overall the way the body is done looks more detailed. <br />

I am usually no fan of the redraws... but WOW! This is just amazing, nice work. Kudos to the artist!

Omg, I love it sooo much! It looks so much more like a snake and I love the new colors, however, its hair looks a little too.... flowy? The original color scheme is going to be kept, it's just being -moved- to a different color (arid). The current common needed a new color scheme, because it should be Arid (and Arid should be Twilight). x_x<br />

This is very nice, but I'd love to see the hair much less wavy, and the color go back to a white or grey. The browns and reds just don't really mesh well in my opinion, and it was more original with an original color scheme o:<br />
