IMO the item isn't even that pretty, but it'd of been nice to see what the hell this was even about :'D My curiosity gets me more than the want for some silly bunch of pixels.
That and I agree, this is pretty unfair. If you can't satisfy everyone on the site with a special offer, then <i>don't do it</i>. That's the smartest and less stressful approach you could take.

Ah, well. I'm in Arizona, so I got it despite initially assuming that Arizona <i>wouldn't</i> be included in the areas it's available to. What a pleasant surprise! Either way, it's a beautiful item. Thank you!
Interesting. I have to say that this item is like anything else on this site, some will get it and some will not. If you want it badly enough, you will save up your sp and buy one. It is, after all, just some wee pixels on a computer screen. There are items out there that NO ONE can get ever again. This one will be available to some, so it will hit the market. It will kind of be like trying to catch something restocking in Subetique. You try and try, you miss it, you never get it, it retires and you head ot the trades to find what you want.

I can get both sides of the argument, but seriously - I want the item and I can't see the video. I'm not about to go and buy something for any price that someone else got for free just based on location. If the sponsor doesn't want to video to be seen by everyone, than I think they shouldn't have show it at all - or at least have an alternate video that everyone else who couldn't see this one could see. All I see this stupid decision by the sponsor doing is losing a potential client base. Seriously if I ever go to Fiji, this sponsor would be the absolute LAST option.
Oh, I could see the reaction this is causing coming a mile away. Back when I was on that other pet site, they'd have sponsored stuff that was only available to American players and nobody else (yet I don't ever recall it happening the other way) and people got pissed. Game company Bioware recently made a big fuss about something great and fantastic that was coming to their site... to have all the prizes only available to Americans, and people got pissed (particularly considering that Bioware is a company that originated in Canada, though it's now owned by EA).
One of these days I may come across a company with a strong Internet presence and fans around the world that will say to potential sponsors, "You know what? If we restrict this to one region we are going to piss off a LOT of our fans/customers/base. How can we make this work so that we're not going to alienate people?"
Chances are that's not going to happen, but I can dream.

After talking with someone in business I was informed this is the worst business decision Subeta could have made. Congrats.
But to be honest, I really don't like it that much.

That's kinda dumb. I mean i'm not one for "OOHHH I DIDN'T GET IT...NOT FAIR", but to exclude the majority of Subeta...is just pretty retarded I think. I mean if you want to go on and on about how awesome you are because you don't do advertisements and such, but then pull this crap...I just find it hypocritical and rather tasteless.

And? It has already been mentioned several times by different users that despite that, most of the world misses out while a select few get to potentially make a fair amount of sP off of them. By the time they get around to everyone else, they'll probably be worth next to nothing, what with being free.

I don't know, people are always take vacations up here in the Northern U.S. because it gets so cold. I'm such a lot of northerners would appreciate a trip to Fiji.xD

Personally this kinda pisses me off, yea Keith I realize that the people sponsoring the video told you to only let it be available to certain states. But what about the rest of us? Yea you said it may become available to other areas soon but what about the other half of the user base that can't get it because they don't live in the US? Personally I wouldn't want to wait two or three months to be able to get said item because the sponsor said you couldn't show the video to the rest of us. They're really too stinking picky, there are people from all corners of the US that have money and probably would think about vacationing in Fiji if they wanted to do so, not just the West Coasters. I think your sponsor needs to get their heads on straight.

I don't think it's even going by states guys, RAIluff can't get it in northern AZ but here in central AZ I got it fine.
It's not supposed to be a free gift, but don't be too bummed. It'll be cheaper soon enough if more people get it. And it's not exactly up to Subeta or Keith where these offers are available.

I think the sponsor don't want anyone seeing this video.. 2 out of 50 states? I wanted the tattoo but things like that make me not want to do offers. I know Keith you can't help what your sponsors decide but this really sucks

I don't understand why the partner company WOULDN'T let you show it to everyone, if you weren't charging any extra. :| I could see it fine, it just seems completely counterintuitive that someone would want to limit the amount of people seeing their ad; it didn't have any USA-centric things in it as far as I could tell. What, only the USA is indulgent enough to spend a couple days basking in gluttony and being served fresh fruit by native workers that loathe their existence? Or were they somehow trying to give an illusion of "exclusivity" to those who COULD see it, like you live in a rich enough area to be considered? Ugh. Blah. Overthinking things.
