In what has likely been a long-expected announcement, we are officially doing away with Cults on Subeta!



On January 1st, Cults will be entirely removed from the site, so be sure to remove any items or sP you may have stored in yours!



And don't forget that forum groups have already largely duplicated much of the social functions of Cults. They're not just ping groups anymore: forum groups not only have their own subforums, but also sP banks. You can also easily mute notifications for any forum group you're a member of, which lets you join to socialize even if you don't want the group pings!

We're going to have scheduled downtime starting at 2AM on Friday December 2nd. We're expecting this downtime to last up to 12 hours, but we're hoping to cut that short throughout the process. Keep an eye on the status site and our social media during the downtime for updates.



We're moving the database to a new service which requires making a backup of the current site, beaming it to a server and then feeding it into this new database. Subeta is huge and you've created a lot of data over the past 12 years which takes a lot of time to move from server to server.







All of your currencies, pets, and other account data are entirely safe as we're starting this entire process by creating a backup.



The downtime will be on a day that Melody's Cottage is open, so we're going to reduce the requirements for the 2016 achievements by a day, so even if you aren't able to visit Melody you can still earn the achievements.

We've taken into account your feedback on the change to CW Shop commissions during sales, and have implemented a change from the plan originally announced last weekend. Maximum commissions will no longer be the price paid for an item, but the price paid minus the amount the Pawn Shop will pay to buy the item.



We know that might sound confusing, so for clarity's sake, we also want to provide you with a list of break-even prices, so you can know when to expect a normal commission, and when to expect the reduced sale commission.



For items with a batch cost of 2,000 CSC, any price set to over 400 CSC (sale price 300 CSC) will receive a reduced commission.

For items with a batch cost of 3,000 CSC, any price over 600 CSC (sale price 450 CSC) will receive a reduced commission.

For items with a batch cost of 4,000 or 5,000 CSC, any price over 800 CSC (sale price 600 CSC) will receive a reduced commission.

For all older items uploaded before tiered pricing was introduced, any price over 1,000 CSC (sale price 750 CSC) will receive a reduced commission.

Remember: We are not going to be doing price matches for 10 days prior, as noted in our original announcement of the sale. The November monthly collections will not be included in the sale, nor will account upgrades such as pet slots, pet name changes, username changes, or pet overlays.



The sale ends on November 30th at 11:59pm. All old items will be re-retired at the end of the sale, and new items will increase to their regular prices.

Done collecting pollen or what-have-you for the year, the harvest bumbus is content to roll around in the leaves. Who are we kidding, the bumbus is always content to do that.

There is a new Loyalty Card available to fill out! Remember that for each stamp you will earn Loyalty Points (LP) in ascending value to spend in the loyalty shop - stamp 1 is 1 point, stamp 2 is 2 points and so forth. Completing a card awards you 5 bonus LP, bringing the total for completing a card to 60LP.



You can fill this card up twice! You will get the same amount of points for filling out each card, so in total you have a chance of getting 120LP. You can spend these points in the Loyalty Shop.



If you’re unsure if you’re on your first or second card, check out your current level. Levels 0-10 are for the first card, 11-20 are for the second card.

Our annual Black Friday sale in the Cash Shop will start early! You'll have from November 21st through 30th at 11:59pm to load up on sale goodies! We'll be bringing back lots of old items and debuting some brand new ones!



We are not going to be doing price matches for 10 days prior to the sale. We wanted to make sure to give you the heads up so you don't mistakenly buy something before the sale expecting to be refunded the difference.



Custom Wearables will be discounted 25% off of their listed price! We are also implementing a small change to the way commissions work during sales. In most cases, the CW creator will still get the same commission they would normally get, but if an item is priced where the commission would be larger than the amount paid for the item, the CW creator will only receive the amount paid for the item instead. This is so a base 500 CSC item cannot be priced at 10k CSC, giving a commission of 9500 CSC with only 7500 CSC paid for it, for example. In that case, the CW owner would only receive the full 7500 CSC payment instead.



As we mentioned last year, these will no longer be included in the Black Friday sale: pet slots, pet name changes, username changes, and pet overlays.



The Pawn Shop will not be included in the Black Friday Sale.
