New Masquerade Themed Avatar Borders!

Dancing just got a lot more interesting!

While using the Mystery Dance feature, you have the chance to unlock the Dancing Steamwork Style achievement which will give you the rad Steamwork Masquerade avatar border!

While dancing with people you choose (friends, on threads, etc), you have the chance to unlock the achievement Dancing Rave Style which will give you the dazzling Rave Masquerade avatar border.

These achievements are IN ADDITION to any prizes you earn.

lol I'm still not really interested in borders but already got both of them. You can see the achievement (even if the borders themselves are not unlocked yet), so I'm pretty sure it will be retroactive.

The reason why these were released near the end of the event is most likely to get people to keep participating, even though they already got everything they needed from the shops.

Plus, it's probable they'll come back next year.

Is the unlock going to be retro active? I know users have gotten the achievements but do you have a log of who has gotten them yet? Or do we have to file a ticket? Or will everyone be reset?

Events always have a little surprise or two thrown in at the end to keep people interested. I think it’s a great thing they were just released cuz I’ve seen tons of people say they stopped participating already cuz they have enough trinkets. Would we rather have 4 days of the event fizzling out and the site losing traffic—or 4 days of people being really excited about a generous surprise and continuing to visit the site multiple times a day?

Oh gosh, I gotta get these! They are very cool. I agree with the sentiment that they should have been released sooner, and not at the end of the event. Ah, well, guess I'll have to step up my dancing. Anyone wanna help? ;)

I wish it was the other way around, I really need the neon one cuz obviously but the forums are very slow and take over a minute just to load... And I agree that this really should have been released sooner or give us an extra day or two to dance so we can all have a chance to earn it. Knowing my luck with REs I probably wont get it for a while... A little upsetting

I got this achievement way earlier before this news post came out and both the new borders are still locked for me. Do you just randomly unlock it at another time or...? I love the rave one so much, I need it :D
