New Masquerade Themed Avatar Borders!
While using the Mystery Dance feature, you have the chance to unlock the Dancing Steamwork Style achievement which will give you the rad Steamwork Masquerade avatar border!
While dancing with people you choose (friends, on threads, etc), you have the chance to unlock the achievement Dancing Rave Style which will give you the dazzling Rave Masquerade avatar border.
These achievements are IN ADDITION to any prizes you earn.

Yay. So pretty - I hope I will get the Rave one (but I'm not sure if I'm lucky enough - I didn't find any Pumpkin patch minions last year).

Oh yay. Time to be skipped again on the dance above threads. I stopped really using them because of that but I don't really have any friends on here. I usually just do the event actions with two/three people who aren't on as much as me. That's why I like the mystery dancing or any of the official random user things. Oh wells.
Questions:
-Does anyone know if only 1 person gets the achievement or both?
-Is it the same for Mystery dances & friend dances?

The forum one came really fast. Let's hope the mystery one is not as reluctant as Boudewin. I've been doing mystery a lot more, because it spares me the constant longwinded disturbance of gameplay with invites and acceptances plus deleting the events. That costs hours.
I don't mind the mystery dance cooldown being longer, but the change should have been announced in this news post. tweaking it quietly with no announcement can throw a lot of people off

I still haven't gotten either of them yet myself, but from what I understand:
- You shouldn't have to visit the dance floor to receive either one
- The Steamwork achievement is obtained when you click to have a mystery dance
- The Rave achievement is obtained on the accept page when you are accepting a dance that someone else offered you through the regular dance link

Got my first border and I'm very excited! Here's to hoping I get the other one too. Crosses fingers
I could be wrong, but it feels like they've added 5 minutes to mystery dances while also shaving back 5 minutes on regular dances. Either that, or I'm just really lucky with regular dance timers.
a workaround i've found for dancing with my pals in the sidebar is to make a blank notepad widget from the dashboard and manually put their code in there. it's not the easiest, but it does the job ! anyways, consider dancing with me or any of these lovely people since you're here anyways !!
The 5 minute increase in mystery dances is absolutely fair, imo. The prizes are well worth it. I've literally gotten at least 700 csc from the dances, not to mention all the trinkets and bags of trinkets.
Why did the wait time for mystery dances go from 10 to 15 minutes? Not okay, especially without any explanation, and it was a longer wait than dancing in the forums to begin with.
Pretty cute borders, I like the variety. I also assume if we cant get them this year, there's always next year
Can’t get the forums to reload. I did get the mystery one already but it’s still working/loading, and the forums aren’t accessible, so why extend the time? I am confusion

@CassieFenix Try doing Wardrobe -> Personal (at the top of the page) -> Cosmetics. The Avatar Borders are considered part of the "New" Subeta, so the link is still a bit obscure. I hope that helps, though!

I just realized the wait time for the random dance increased by 5 minutes. Why? That's bs. The lag already means we have a slim chance of getting these. Why reduce it further?
