Proposed Pherret Revamp!

I always think it's a shame when a revamp changes the character of the species, from surprised/timid to happy. I also think it is sad to have made the face marking/mask more like eyelashes and not as big. Shame to loose the fringe/forelock. Some users mentioned the front legs not looking quite right, they don't seem long enough and I don't think being completely dark is good either. Final niggle is the yellow nose and back stripe, they seem out of place and unnecessary.

The wings on the mask still make it look far too feminine for my liking. I think its because they look like eyelashes more than a mask.
Many of my pets are pherrats and the one thing that always bothered me from the first was the dour, humorless expression on the original artwork. It seemed to me that mustelids have a much more curious and fun-loving nature and so the proposed revamp seems to improve greatly on that characteristic. The artwork is a major improvement too. I agree about the sudden color transition on the forelimbs, but that's not a huge sticking point for me.
I love it! The lighter brown/orange does kinda look like a highlight rather than a marking, but I still like it :>

I don't have a pherret, but I do very much like the new version. Much more dimension and personality.
Personally I like it, but I'm not a pherret person and I feel like more consideration should be given to the owners who it will impact more. In general I'm normally not so sure about revamps that change the spirit of the pet (like from solemn to happy) but it really is cute. I like how the fur is more textured but the shine on the back is a little weird, looks too smooth to be furry, like the back is made of plastic or something.
I love the new one, it's adorable. I'd miss the old one for sure, but the new one is so cute that I can see myself adjusting very quickly.
The fur (particularly the chest & belly) looks so much more realistic on the potential revamp, and those paws are definitely a huge improvement!
I'm not 100% on the front legs being that much darker than the rest of the dark brown fur, but if that's a specific quirk that all Pherrets have, then I could live with it ;)

I know ferrets can have this sort of coloration IRL, but it does look odd here. Maybe if there was more of a gradient going up the back to meet the arms, it wouldn't be so stark and jarring. Another thing is the extra lines of color added to the back and face; I don't think that's entirely necessary? Last thing is the band across the face. Where before it looked like flames/paint strikes, now it looks like eyeliner which gives it a very feminine appearance. (Not that I mind but it might turn off some folks.) Pose looks fun and more lively than before. Anatomy looks correct and realistic without completely breaking what came before it. Overall an excellent revamp.

I love the revamp! The face is sooo cute and the little toes are adorable! The only thing that I notice is that the arms look almost too dark. The darker brown looks great on the feet and mask, but it feels like too much on the arms. Maybe if it was more of an accent on the arms instead of full sleeves? Just a thought. Overall, this is a great revamp and an overall very nice improvement, thank you!

I like it really, but I think the ''eyelashes mascara'' turned the expression too feminine. the pose is fine, much better actually.
I am loving the revamp. The details, the color composition. THE LITTLE TOESIEWOSIES. and I get a feel of action in the pose, like they are going down on one paw after looking around. I can tell someone had fun with perspective on this xD
I really like the new revamp. But maybe put a dark stripe also on the tail? that comes from the front paws, goes over the back and carries on in the tail
Cute, but the different shade on the front legs are throwing me off a bit, maybe make the back to match more?
