The PETSP (People for the ethical treatment of Subeta Pets) have lobbied for days that various area's of the site require that your pets be fed and happy. Remember that the Lakeview Resort is always open and ready to take pets who's owners can't handle the task of feeding/playing with them. :)

I think that different food items should satiate your pet's hunger to different levels. Like, if you feed it a pie, it would be more full than if you fed it a candy.<br />

Hrm. I wouldn't mind keeping my pets fed and happy if I didn't lag horribly every time I click an item in my inventory... Also, would it be possible to reduce the steps on the resort (wondering if that's one of the changes you mentioned)? Again, a lag issue. It takes forever to submit requests = I definitely like the idea of needing to keep your pets happy, but it's rather frustrating when it takes so long.
rotfl I usually keep my pets in the resort, but sometimes I forget when they get out and I'm busy--so I just had to see what would happen to my HA! That's too funny!<br />

Interesting... I kinda like it. :3 It'll make food and toys sell more. Also they ARE pets and this IS a pet site so it makes sense that we should keep them fed and happy, not let them rot and be colored, named trophies.<br />

I like it too. All my pets are bloated and very happy, and they are also in the resort. I do think it's kinda funny that you get spray painted if they aren't....maybe there should be more then one colour...

Usually I only have to feed my pets once a day - today I've had to feed them ONCE AN HOUR. What the hell?
This is annoying in the extreme. It wouldn't bug me if putting the pets in the resort were easier, instead of requiring 3 slow-loading screens per pet (=30 slow-loading screens every 2 weeks). If there were a fast, easy way to put the pets in the lodge, then it wouldn't be so annoying.
hehe, the face does not work with masks and such. points at own HA i would love to see many unneccessary options at the hotel, like "what kind of food" "what time do they like to eat" and so on xD

hmm I never considered the feeding and happiness to be very important until now... at least they won't die, right?<br />

"PETSP", ohlol xD if you're changing the hotel a bit, please do that we can chose in one action how many of our pets should check in. lD its so ew to do that stuff for every single pet.
Now that the shock is over-- I have to say I guess it is nice to have the pets have more of a purpose now, and now I can buy toys and food.. and those also have a purpose.. Sounds like an interesting idea. I'm SO bad about feeding and playing with my pets. After the first four months or so of playing it just kinda stopped being important. This will give it meaning agian. I wonder which areas this will apply to though ...

Cheh, I'm sure some of you (Keith) are expecting me to be ranting and raving about this change but to be honest it doesn't concern me. I try to keep on top of my babies happiness/hunger levels, I hardly ever restock, I rarely ever change my avatar.<br />

I would like to see Questing kept at an even par with restocking...as many prefer one over the other. Pete's Quests -used- to one of the best, and that is not the case now with many foods reaching astronomical prices in relation to their rarity.

I think what some people are missing is that (for now at least) it is only your active pet that needs to be happy and fed for you to fully access the site and all its features. If you have 15 pets and you want to let the other 14 starve then so be it. All that Keith and staff are asking is that you keep 1...that's right ONE...pet happy and fed. Not too terribly difficult as it will cost you 100 sP per day to chuck that one pet in the resort with no extra options. Really...if you can't afford 100sP per day then there isn't a whole lot you can do on the site anyhow.

No offense, really, but if you don't want to have to feed your pets then don't have any. O---x It just makes sense, anyway. You're saying pets are pushed in your face? Inconvenient now? I'm just saying, they weren't pushed in your face, or anything because you adopted them. You put them in your own business. xP I don't want to have to remember to feed them, but I still think it's a good idea to get pets reincorperated into the site, and everything tied together. x)

You know what bugs me even more than this inconvenient change? When people come here to state their opinion on the matter and then OTHER people come, read the people's opinions, and start ranting on and on and on, and getting all upset about how they disagree with what the previous people said!!
