The PETSP (People for the ethical treatment of Subeta Pets) have lobbied for days that various area's of the site require that your pets be fed and happy. Remember that the Lakeview Resort is always open and ready to take pets who's owners can't handle the task of feeding/playing with them. :)

Nightflame - that's because whoever is in charge can't seem to make up their mind about what Subeta actually is. It goes from petsite (whenever it needs to appeal to Neopets' demographic) to a community site (to appeal to Gaia's) to whatever else randomly. That's why people who came here for the avatars are going to be annoyed when pets get shoved in their face, and ones that are here for the pets will be annoyed when the pets are neglected.

The fact that you have to feed and play with your pet, as more humane to PIXELS as that is, it's utter crap. Other sites show when you've been a horrible owner and paste you to public ridicule when they see it on your pets profiles. This site restricts access to simple places? Wouldn't it make more sense to stop places that actually have to do with pets?<br />

I usually feed and play with my pets once a day, and they stay bloated and very happy. But today they are 'happy,' 'unhappy,' and 'unhungry' every time I look at them. COME ON. Feeding them once a day is fun, feeding them once an hour is not.

I would love an "all pets" option at the resort. I ususally keep my pets in there because I find feeding them tedious. It cost me 14,000sp though which is a lot for new people. Keith mentioned something the other day about people not using food to feed their pets (when the vending machine prices went up) so I'm not surprised this step has been implemented.<br />

I really like Alraune's idea. It would be so much easier if we could just have the option of putting multiple pets into the resort at once.

Just thought I'd point something out: It is NOT too expensive or time consuming to put your pets in the resort. I just put all 11 of my pets in for 14 days at 100 sp per day, and it cost me a total of 15,400 sp. 15k is chump change and, really, extremely cheap consider that's a payment that need to be made only every two weeks. And as for time, it took me less than 5 minutes, which really isn't too long.

I wish you could just shove them all in there permanently (until they're taken out for example). To be honest the resort is a bit of a bother to use since you have to click three thousand times for each pet and they only stay in for 2 weeks.
....o.o; saddly I have to take the side of the peoples who don't like this. I know the fairs aren't expensive but they can be for users with very little sP and alot of pets. And for users who don't get much of a chance to come online.

I don't have a problem about having to keep my pets happy and fed but I wish the cost per day at the resort were lower. 100sp a day is a lot.
Horray for Petsp! I love that this brings the focus onto pets. Mine were hungry now because I've been lazy the past couple days but I've always tried to keep them fed and happy.
I really think all the arguments need to be taken to PMs and left out of the comments. Get over it. It's a feature that has been implemented, and I doubt it will affect your sP collections in a drastic way that necessitates whining and complaining and fighting with other users. I don't mind feeding and playing with my pets. I keep them bloated and very happy anyway. But so far today my pets don't seem to be staying bloated and very happy for long. I feed my one pet to bloated about 3 hours ago and now she's back to unhungry. Please tell me I not going to have to keep feeding my pets constantly through out the day. At this rate they will be starving by the time I wake up in the morning even if they were maxed before I signed off for the night.

also, i don't think there should be an all pets at once option for the resort...i think you should be able to put them in 1 at a time, 3 at a time, or 5 at a time, just as an example. don't outright encourage the laziness of the players who chose to have 5 to 10 to 15 pets.
I agree with inta.... an "all pets" option at the resort would be awesome and I'd use it a lot more. With 13 pets it's very annoying... I always lose count of who I've put in..lol.

the one thing i do miss about neopets, is that you were closer to your pets somehow. you could hardly do anything without your pet with you. they expressed emotion, pain, happiness, everything. the pets here on subeta are a bit too realistic and pretty and complicated to do the same amount of expressions neopets did, but i wonder if the artists are willing to try? they've already done an amazing job making differences between common and angelic and the other special ones...why not implement some of the various poses and faces into the recode for having emotional pets? i can tell you i would LOVE that -huggles my dear little pets i already love to pieces-<br />
