The PETSP (People for the ethical treatment of Subeta Pets) have lobbied for days that various area's of the site require that your pets be fed and happy. Remember that the Lakeview Resort is always open and ready to take pets who's owners can't handle the task of feeding/playing with them. :)

Just one question.....how is sticking your pets into the resort considered "taking care of your pets"??? That, to me, is the lazy way out.

I was actually starting to think that this site wasn't a petsite anymore. Considering you dont have to do squat with your pets, and the only reason people have them is to make them pretty colours and roleplay with them. whine whine!!! I've been sticking my pets in the resort since day 1 and if not I try to keep them feed and happyish. It's not that hard, plua isn't that the point of a pet site??? To take care of your pets!?!?!!?<br />

I thought that Subeta wasn't meant to be a pet site, and that that was just one aspect of things that can be done here. I'm sure I read that somewhere... Not that I'm complaining, woo for happy poets.
With this being necessary now, it would be nice if there was some indication of whether or not your pet is in the Resort. Especially with having ten pets, I worry that I might have accidentally skipped one, thinking I had put them in the resort.

Well, I don't personally want to neglect my real pets just to stuff some random bunch of pixels. I don't see how getting rid of one bundle of pixels and data should dictate who can and can't play on the site... I also see this directly affecting Pete's Quests. With the new minion bubble thing and the new rule that you have to feed your pets to play, I see the prices of food going far up and directly affecting the game.

wait why am I still able to use my wardarobe? The only pet that isn't starving and is happy is my active one, does this mean he's the only one that counts?

I don't mind the change but I would have preferred to see it after the recode, since the lag makes it unbearable sometimes to feed/play with each pet individually. I guess we can always use the resort but I'm afraid that it will be changed for the worst :/

Ok, I got to thinking, for the resort it would be nice if it had a 30 day option, and the ability to add all your pets at the same time, like a quick stock LOL
Oh and I meant making the stay in the lodge easier and longer is not conducive to an overall objective of economy boost. Just sorta cut that sentence short...was thinking faster then typing.

This is probably to help boost the economy. Get rid of some of the 'useless' items here on Subeta. I dont see how making the stay in the lodge will make things better. I also think the minion feeding was ingenious way to help get rid of some food. I am sure it is also to make the site more intricate in design.<br />
I havent ever fed or played with my pets...shhhhh...but i will happily do so if it means I will be making more sp selling food and toys. I look at everything from the perspective of what is good for the site overall, guess thats what happens when you get old lol.<br />

Oh, come on! I spend enough time caring for my fish and dog. -eyerolls and just sticks them in the resort-

good idea. however, we should be able to put all pets in the resort with ONE click, because it's a pain in the a×× to put em in separately S: also, the resort should last for at least 1 month. but this is just my opinion ^^ sorry for my bad english!
I hope the glitches get worked out fast. I check my pets often, trying to keep them happy and fed. After doing it when I logged on today, I got some new clothes, but couldn't dress my avatar in them, kept saying a certain pet should be played with and fed first. This pet was happy and bloated, as where the rest of them. It drove me nuts. Finally did get in
I agree Frozenz. It's disgusting seeing users on PET sites making a big deal out of taking care of their PETS. Pets aren't status symbols or trophies. If you don't want to take care of them then don't get any. It's a simple concept. I think all pet sites should do this. You shouldn't be able to play with a miserable/starving pet.

I think that it is interesting that some people are being so complainy over this. This is a pet site. I do not see why the focus should not be on the pets. This is not an HA site. ._.
