The PETSP (People for the ethical treatment of Subeta Pets) have lobbied for days that various area's of the site require that your pets be fed and happy. Remember that the Lakeview Resort is always open and ready to take pets who's owners can't handle the task of feeding/playing with them. :)

It's too tiring to put all your pets in the lakeside resort if you have 10, because you have to do the same thing 10 times. There should be an all pets option.

I was just wonder how long it would take to get in.. I can see this becoming a BIG problem once I start working again... I am not going to have time to deal with this.. and for some reason dressing my HA at times, when I am stressed has a real soothing effect on me.. to not be able to come in and dress right away.. stinkos.. sigh<br />

I put all my pets in the resort, spent 30 minutes playing games and wasted a ton of money on toys, and I still can't acccess my wardrobe. Seriously, abandoning them all would be easier than this, all i want to do is remove shoes.
Okay, my understanding is it just needs to be the active pet.. that would be okay and maybe fun.. I wouldnt mind buying food and toys for her.. I hope it just stays with one pet... If not, I would hate to say it but I would have to pet dump.. Since the resort is an option, this doesn't really bother me. Heck, this is a PET site after all! And if people don't like the pet aspect that much, then just one pet hardly takes any time or sP to look after. <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />
I have to say the primary reason I don't feed my pets as often as I should is because it's tedious. They drop even one level off bloated, you have to feed them like four things to bring them back up. Happiness is even worse; sometimes it doesn't seem to budge at all. And it's what, 3-4 screens to feed? Now multiply by 5, 10, 15 pets... <br />

I don't mind this new addition, I love to see that my pets are happy and full. I do love the Idea of a Play Area for our pets that would be amazing. We have a park already now if our pets could get something out of visiting there. <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif" border="0" /> The only thing I would love to see change at the at the Resort would be the checking in procedure (sp). Don't need the time extended just not so many steps to check in each pet. Not sure how I feel about the quickstock suggestion though. I don't mind checking them in one at a time. Since I adore my little Pixels, they are way better pets then my RL pet.. LOL they don't tear the trash up.

Hahaha, that's all good news to me. I usually try to keep my pets in the lodge anyway. Less expensive than buying all that food, plus toys. Training Intoxicate gets expensive enough as it is. =P
A good idea in my opinion. (I often forget to check if my pets are happy or hungry since I rarely go to the status page.) My one complaint is that the resort only goes up to 14 days.<br />

I was thinking about this a few days ago... the difference between this place and Neopets it's that in Neo, pets are a little more important. (that, and the fact that Neopets sucks... XD).<br />

You know, I actually think this is an excellent idea. It brings the focus back to the pets, and also forces users to care for them. It causes me no end of frustration to see hungry or depressed pets, even if they are merely pixels.<br />

It's so funny how people are actually whining about this. All of these users complain that they actually have to spend SP on food, toys, or lodging, and then they forget the hoardes of crap in their galleries and vaults that just SITS there. <br /> If you dont want to feed them, don't feed them. I've always fed/played with my pets because, as someone said before, it kind of bothers me to see "famished" or "dying of extreme boredom because my owner is a bish who lives in her wardrobe". It's kind of funny how people are overreacting to this. Just think of it as another task, such as doing wizard quests. So what if it's forced, don't have a friggen cow over it :c (and also, sometimes pets become spontaniously full, so you won't always have to feed them all...or, atleast to my observation)
Seriously, Subeta started as a petsite. And they have finally enforced that you take care of them, and you whine? Seriously. It is time that the pets became more than just trophies. I have the full 15, so it will take me as many, if not more clicks to put them in the resort, but I do it, and did it before this requirement. If you don't want to take care of them, get rid of them pure and simple.

To those that are talking about the price and not wanting to spend the sP on food/toys.... it is only 1400sp per pet to put them in the resort for 2 weeks. And for those saying they will forget every 2 weeks, you actually get a notice saying when your pet is out - so then you just put them right back in and voila ~ another two weeks where you can go on doing what you do. ;D
The only time I put my pets in my Lodge is when I know I'm not going to be around to feed 'em... ie, when I'm on vacation. They seem to like to go on a vacation every now and then, so I doubt that whatever happens at the Lodge is gonna be that bad for me at least.<br />

"You may feed your real life pets, but chances are their quality of life isn't wonderful if all you do is feed them and then walk over to the computer." So, we should spend those five minutes it takes to shove all the pets in the resort neglecting out pets to try and feed our pixelated pets to prove that we can take care of pets? That makes little sense. This is making you spend more time doing one thing to care for things and take away time from our own. Why should everyone else have to comply to this new rule for the little kids who want to get a pet this way? Get them a tamagotchi if they want to prove they can care for a pixel thing, I like my subeta as a way to contact friends once I'm done with caring for my real pets who actually will die if you don't feed them. Just because I don't click a few extra buttons on subeta doesn't mean I don't care for my fish and dog. I nearly broke down when I heard that my fish was more than likely to loose his eye from an illness, but I kept on medicating him and he's getting much better after I went nuts looking for the right medications to put in his bowl. I even use a turkey baster to get his poo out of the bowl because it would stress him out too much to take him out of the bowl to clean it while he is sick. On the other hand, I let my subeta pets starve because they are not real and have no effect on how I care or do not care for my real pets, now on how much I love them.

Alferia - Put them in the Lakeside resort instead, it only takes a few minutes and they'll be happy and fed. (: It's not expensive either.
