I too, miss the old wings. I feel that the snout should be a little wider as well. Agreeing with those below me. I really hope the wings grow! xD
I like the new one. But the wings were better before. And the face looks kinda weird, the teeth don't really fit this new face.

Interesting... It's nice in general so I voted for the new one. If I may add a few thoughts though:<br/><br/> I like the spots, but feel that the nose/snout needs to be wider and that the wings need to be bigger. Not sure what the dark spot is on the back either - is it a shell/armour type thing? If it is a shell/armour, it could do with some more definition. But good job overall =D
Hmm, i personally dislike the spots. The green color looks sorta out of place on here. And the wings should be bigger too imo, the face looks somewhat dis proportionate...maybe a wider snout might fit?

I am so glad this pet is up next for an update <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif" border="0" /> I don't have much of an opinion on the color choices here, but I do like the added markings. As is though, if this redraw went through I would change Hoseki's specie just because I think the full-sized wings are part of what makes the hipposaru so special.

I prefer the New Version, but I much prefer the Wings from the Old Version. Combine the two and I'll be very happy.
It's way cute! The only things that I don't like too well are the wings: they could be larger, the ears: might look better slightly smaller, and the dark marking on the back: it reminds me of a saddle.

I really love those little spots on his skin, it looks so much more.. detailed now? I'm not a great fan of those "chibi wings" either, I'd love to see them having the similar joints that bird wings have, (you know, the elbow and so on, I'm not sure did I explain it clear enough so sorry for that XD) but this looks very cute like this, too, and those little teeth are just so adorable <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_heart.gif" border="0" />

He's got a really darling face. I'm not so sure about the color or markings, or the strange... "cap" on the back. Ears seem a bit strange, especially the near one?

My main concern is the face. It's a weird mix of coyote and elf to me and it doesn't work at all. The dark wide strip down the back is also very strange looking, I keep thinking it's covered in mud. And I adored the old wings too. These little tacked on ones aren't doing anything for me.
I do like the new hands and the added spots though, nice bit of detailing. I hope this gets more work, especially to the face, before it's revamped though.

How gorgeous! If they get a revamp, then will be getting one myself! The spots are my favorite part! They look like ornate jewelry.

I don't really like the wings, though, because I was used to the big fluffy wings. I also don't like the ears so much. :c

I love the new markings! The wings are adorable, and that example reminds me of strawberries. xD
