VICTORY!
We did it! We left Subeta covered in gelatin and we made Selina the Healer disgustingly rich, but we did it! Hydragellos has shuffled off this mortal coil... or, well, he's shuffled out of Subeta, anyway, taking all his annoying little minions with him. I, of course, struck the decisive blow, although there isn't an achievement for that anymore so I can't prove it.

I've gotta go home and take a shower and eat something that isn't a PB&J, but I'll get those prizes out to all of you soon! You really impressed me out there. Maybe someday you'll even be as strong as me. I believe in you.

Hydragellos Update!
Beating up on the Hydragellos has been super painless so far, right? Definitely hasn't felt like we're moving through gelatin whenever we try to battle, or anything!

I, of course, have been zipping along carving chunks out of this thing at super speed -- I've been moving so fast that it feels like all of you are in slow motion! I got a little carried away, in fact, and now I don't think Hydragellos can handle a whole pile of people doing 15 million damage each to him. Tell you what, if you do just 10 million damage by Thursday at 10pm instead, I'll make you that core I promised you. If you can't quite hit that mark, don't worry, I'll still have other prizes for you. We got a deal?

Specialty shops such as the Millionaire Center are being temporarily disabled as part of Keith looking into the lag, but they'll be back! Thanks for bearing with us!

EDIT: Specialty shops are re-enabled, and server and database load have been rebalanced as well! We'll continue to tweak as needed.

Hydragellos is One Mean Monster!
Why should Hydragellos get to stomp around like a giant while the rest of us try not to get smushed under his big feet? What’s so great about Hydragellos, huh? When did it become okay for one giant pile of gelatin to be the boss of everybody, huh?! BECAUSE THAT’S NOT WHAT SUBETA IS ABOUT! WE SHOULD TOTALLY JUST STAB HYDRAGELLOS!

...Sorry, got a little carried away there. But I meant what I said. If you stab that thing enough times -- say, 15 million damage worth of times -- I should be able to use the jiggly chunks you lopped off to craft you your very own Hydragellos Maniacal Core.* I'll keep track of your total damage here so you can check it anytime.

And don't worry if you can't do that much damage; I'm sure I can scrounge up various prizes for everyone who participates, based on their overall damage dealt!

*One core per account; the 15m damage has to be from a single pet. You have until Thursday at 10pm. Good luck!

So, those much bigger and scarier threats I was talking about? It's these gelatin stompers. And if you think there are a lot of them now, you should have seen the size of this horde before I took out about 90% of them yesterday! And I cleaned up the mess they made, too, so that you wouldn't step in it today. That's why the battlefield is so clean... because I'm so considerate. No need to thank me or anything, just finish off the stragglers, please and thank you!

In happier news, it seems like the smaller gellies are starting to disperse. That's good, right? Surely there couldn't be anything scarier coming in their place, right?

Okay folks, it was all fun and games til this point, but now the gelatins have learned how to use magic. So here's what we're gonna do. All of you are gonna get in front of me, like a big meat shie... uh, wall of warriors, and you're gonna hit those things with everything you've got. Meanwhile, I'll be back here single-handedly eliminating the much bigger and scarier threats attacking from the other direction. Don't let me distract you, though. It's Glider Time!
Despite asking you to keep the minis off my roof, I heard an awful lot of thuds above my head last night... uh, not that I was inside! I was out beating up mini gelatins all night, except for when I needed a snack. I was craving a good old-fashioned PB&J, for some reason. Anyway... do you hear that? It's faint, but I can just make out the subtle whoosh of aerodynamic gelatins...

Sigh... it's mini gelatins again, isn't it. I feel like I'm still finding goopy residue from last time!

Hello there! We're just getting into the season a day earlier with a reminder of spring cleaning...

Six years ago, we moved away from an outdated resource-intensive shop system and into our current system. At the time of the change, a tool was offered to move items from the outdated "legacy shops" and into the new shops. We plan to permanently retire this tool on June 19th, 2022, and at that time, all legacy shops and galleries and their contents will be unrecoverable. No compensation will be offered for lost items after that time.

You will know you still have a legacy shop or gallery if it has a ! next to it under Your Shops. If you click on a legacy shop, it will also take you to a page reminding you that the system has retired. If your shop doesn't have a ! next to it, OR you created your shop(s) within the last six years, you don't need to worry about this message!

We urge you to please migrate your legacy shops, if you still have any, to the current system as soon as possible. You can find the guide for migrating the content of your legacy shops at this link EDIT although some information may be outdated as some options have been deprecated over the years. As an extra step, we also suggest making a list of the contents before you move anything. Please don't hesitate to reach out via the Ticket Center if you encounter any problems while moving anything over. Thank you for your understanding!

Note: Dr. Lockhearts items will be usable again once we close snowballs at the start of Vesnali! Bird Watching will close when Vesnali starts instead of the first day of Spring just like snowballs.

We've updated the Donation Center with some new coding to reduce lag. It will only load 2000 items at a time, although items over that amount aren't lost or deleted!

You may notice that the names aren't showing; right now this is intentional, to reduce the number of queries per page. However, we understand that part of the fun may be seeing who's pitched in a gift, or who has a birthday, or who's really gotten into a site event; please provide your feedback on the forums on whether you'd prefer names on the donations or not.

We've put some candy hearts in there as well, so please test it out and tell us what you think of the changes.

If you said Vesnali, then you are correct. ;) We are adjusting our holiday schedule to move Vesnali to be closer to the start of Spring rather than the end. Masquerade timing has simply been flipped with our flower-filled holiday. The flowers will start to bloom around the start of April.

Note: Throw a Snowball achievement has had its final tier adjusted.

It's the final countdown to the end of Survival! The holiday will be ending at 11:59pm today. That means you won't be able to sign up for another infection, battle the wrestlers, kiss your friends for hearts, or restock/catch floating memorial flowers once the holiday ends.

💋 Kissing times will not be decreased. The've been running at last day of holiday times this entire holiday. ;)

💋 If you get infected but haven't unlocked your skin before the holiday is over... don't worry. It'll continue to mature until you can unlock your shiny new wardrobe skin even after Survival. But if you signed up for an older strain, remember to post in the Survival forum for bites to make sure the infection takes before the end of the day!
