FAQ
Are MiniMods paid?
No. This position is purely volunteer, but we hire User Admins from our Mini Moderator base. User Admin is a paid position. If you work hard, and show that you can handle the duties of a MiniMod, then you may be eligible to become a UA in the future.
How long does it take to go from MiniMod to User admin?
There is no set time on this. We hire on a basis of what is needed. There are many more MiniMods than User Admins. You may be a MiniMod for years before we may need another User Admin. Openings are rare, and only become available when members of the current team leave. Because of our low turnover rate, there is no guarantee that a spot will open while you are a MiniMod. When a slot does open up, we look for diligent members of the MiniMod team who have been with us long enough to prove that they can handle the job, and have shown that they are active, hard working team players. If your only wish is to be a UA, keep in mind that as you move up, the job only gets harder. UA is not the "easy street" for MMs.
Is experience necessary?
While experience isn't necessary, your chances of being hired will be greatly improved if you've worked in the Customer Service industry previously.
Why do I have to live in the US to be a MM?
All MiniMods have the potential to become UAs which is a paid position. Unfortunately, due to legal and tax reasons, we cannot hire outside of the US. There are no exceptions to this rule.
I sent my application in previously through the Application page or via email. Is it still valid?
All applications from the previous round of hiring have been cleared from the system. If you wish to apply for this round of hiring, you will need to fill out a new application and submit it via email.
If I want to apply for more than one forum, do I need to submit separate applications?

Two Shinwa prizes have been reinstated as stat boosters -- Shinwas Sealed Scroll Of Dark Magic will once again raise your pet's intelligence, while Shinwas Orb will raise your pet's speed!

Subeta's battle system has changed! Now all pets and all weapons have been sorted into tiers, and a number of weapons have gotten new stats and effects. Visit this topic for an explanation of the changes!
Also, a new weapon has been added to the Cash Shop! Sentinel can be used on its own, or can be equipped along with any of our 36 combined legendary weapons for a special boosting effect!

Hello, Subeta! We will be hosting a meetup in Spokane, Washington on July 14th, 2012 starting at 1 PM! The meetup will last no longer than 4 PM! It'll be @hagane and myself, so bring your site, art, and custom-wearable related questions to us!
We will be meeting at the Riverfront Park in downtown Spokane, near the statues of naked people running by the sidewalk. Don't let the "price" turn you off - using the park itself is free so you won't have to pay to get in! You are of course more than welcome to purchase tickets to ride the Skyride, Carrousel or enjoy the other pay-to-play features of the park, but for the meet-up will be chilling on a blanket on the lawn, hanging out with the rest of you!

There is now an option to specify a maximum number of batches to release (either unlimited or limited) when you upload a new custom wearable. Please note that it will be considered scamming from this point forward if you mislead customers about the release limits on your CWs. You will also not be able to put limited-release items into the cash shop.

Rah and I are in Stockholm at the moment and want to check the amount of interest in a Subeta meetup. We are in Stockholm until the 29th, and don't have a specific date yet, just because we're making sure there are enough users who want to go! We didn't know where we would be in Sweden until now, so sorry for the short notice!
So what we want from you is, can you go to a meetup, and what day works best for you? At the moment we're looking at Sunday the 24th.

It's the moment you've all been waiting for! We're ready to debut the new clearing system... on June 23rd.
The new system is really simple, and will make for a much nicer process going forward.
Every day at 3PM (Subeta time) all accounts from the previous day that are ready to clear will be cleared. That means after the 23rd there will be no more manual clearings, it will all be automatic.
Also, the names themselves will not clear. The accounts will be marked as inactive (which you will be able to see on their profile) and when you take their name, it will just rename their account (or pets). That means that if the user does decide to come back to Subeta, their account is still there, just with a name change.
I know this is a confusing change, but the tldr; version is:
1. All accounts that have been inactive or frozen for one year will become inactive on June 23rd.
2. Any account tagged as inactive is "up for grabs", you can take that username, or their pet names.
3. When an inactive account has it's username taken, it gets changed to something else and the user is sent a notification, and also gets a free username change.
4. The uses who have had their usernames/pet names taken cannot ask for their old names back.
