Greetings, friends! I have r-r-returned from the new land, Shengui Guo, and the people seem ver-r-ry nice. They gave me all kinds of gifts for removing the spirit bar-r-rier that kept them hidden, but I don’t feel r-r-r-right keeping all of these things for myself… please, have a look at these and choose some things to take home.
Speaking of lifting spirit ba-r-riers, you did a great job in defeating Kiyo! The people of Shengui Guo told me that she used to be such a benevolent spir-rit, and kind of their p-r-rotector. But she got a little too pr-rotective, cutting them off from the r-rest of the world. They had pleaded with her as the spir-r-its started becoming hungrr-r-rier for r-r-remembrance, and she was so conflicted in what to do that she ended up lashing out at everr-r-yone, both inside Shengui Guo and out. The city lost all of its life and color, and so did its people. That’s what the fear of something bad happening did to her. She ended up becoming the destr-r-ructive force she was so afr-raid of.
Kiyo’s not hur-rt, she can never r-r-really be physically hurt like you or me, but you helped defeat the fear inside of her that had taken over. You may see her, watching over Shengui Guo again. Over time she\'ll r-r-return to the happy self she used to be, the wise people of Shengui Guo assure me. We just need to keep visiting and gr-r-adually the land will return to the prosperous place it once was. Which reminds me, you should go to the Floating Market! It\'s only just being r-r-ebuilt, but it\'s quite the lovely place.

Terror is coming, brave battlers. Terror is here. The battle against Kiyo has only just ended, but hopefully you've had time enough to rest and recover, as we once again need your protection.
The Tatuvichwa will be no small challenge, but those of you willing to fight may do so by picking up the Fire Ice And Air Knuckles in the Cash Shop. The battle will not be an easy one, but rest assured that we will all be with you. In spirit. Cheering you on from very far away and from behind very thick walls.
But, alas, that is not all! The Tatuvichwa has brought with it a minion that, like Crithbolcan's minion before it, has attacked the Millionaire Center. While it is not as strong as its master, the Rimeflare Hatchling is more than capable of meting out destruction.
Note: The Sierrac Signet will be retiring on September 1st! The Rimeflare Tablet is a Millionaire Center constant item, so it won’t be changing with the seasons!

As the new land of Shengui Guo appeared, the legeica were struck with a feeling of rejuvenation. Shaking out their manes, they whinnied across the land in synchronised happiness. What joyous calls! If you have a legeica, you may notice a little skip in its trot, today.

The master spirit lays defeated, with the final blow dealt by Emrys, and the curse of Kiyo’s Sorrow is beginning to lift, thanks to the brave battlers and crafters that took up this monumental challenge, however something unexpected has happened! It seems that with the spirit gone, not only has the sudden inclement weather cleared, but a new land has been revealed in the South Seas. We now go to our Channel 5 Field Reporting, live on site:
“Er yes, hello Titania. I’ve made it to the emerald hills of the new land and have spoken to some of the locals. They say the land is called Shengui Guo, a land of spirits and the otherworldly, and that is has been shrouded by spirit energy for some time.
No one has come and gone from this isolated island nation for centuries, the streets and markets are almost bare, but the mood among the few locals I spoke to is celebratory. Perhaps, with time, the markets will fill again with the chatter of vendors and crowds.â€
You heard it here first: the threat of rampaging spirits has come to an end, and a new land has been revealed. What mysteries and adventures await in this new land? Only time will tell.

As the battle rages on, we\'re going straight to Shadowglen Councilor, Connor Rainsong, who has some pertinent information to share:
“It’s me! I’ve been wor-r-rking as fast as I can, and things are getting much clear-r-r-rer. It’s definitely the offer-r-rings! Spir-r-r-rits want to know that they are r-r-remembered, but they’ve been left neglected for too long. Whatever-r-r the pir-r-rates and Jaxon wer-r-re doing seemed to be the bar-r-re minimum, but when Jaxon took his vacation and couldn’t leave out any offer-r-rings, it was the final str-r-raw.
These spir-r-rits are taking matter-r-rs into their-r-r own hands, and for-r-rcing themselves back into our memor-r-ries. It makes sense that they star-r-rted with the pir-r-rates, who have left offer-r-rrings in the past, and Quentin, who has a closer-r-r connection with death. I bet that if Jaxon would answer-r-r the door-r-r, we would confir-r-rm that he is feeling the effects of it, too.
I wonder if Kiyo is too far-r-r gone? Her sor-r-row seems to have turned to anger-r-r…â€

As predicted, the master spirit is back with a vengeance, and scarier than ever! What has Subeta done to provoke this? What can be done to end this assault? I spoke with Connor Rainsong, acting expert, who has this to say:
“Uhhhh, well, if I’m under-r-rstanding this fully, it seems like Kiyo is some kind of spir-r-r-rit guide? She fer-r-r-ries the spir-r-rits of the depar-r-rted from our-r wor-r-rld to the land of the dead… O-r-r-r some kind of half-wor-r-rld? I’m not sur-r-r-re, it doesn’t tr-r-r-ranslate well.
He-r-r-r thoughts and feelings can affect the living, it says. Though I don’t fully under-r-rstand why, we’ve been cur-r-rsed with something called the Sor-r-r-row of Kiyo - that’s why everyone has been getting so exhausted and pale. It must have something to do with the offer-r-rings, r-r-right? Or lack ther-r-reof? I’ll keep at it!â€

Subeta's bravest have once again managed to beat back the raging Kiyo. She came back stronger, angrier after her first defeat, and I've no doubt that she will return a third time. Will we be able to win another fight against her, or will we soon be facing the end of us all?
The final blow of this battle was reportedly dealt by Tashamon. Rest up, battlers and crafters, you've earned it.

It appears the cries that were heard from the retreating creature were to be believed, as from the swirling mists, Kiyo has reappeared, enraged!
Can the people of Subeta once more protect us from this ghostly beast? Will defeating Kiyo rid Subeta of the sickly 'grayscale' disease that has been afflicting people? Will the swirling mists disperse to reveal something more? These are questions I will continue to report on, as and when I can!
Remember, if you are not able to help battle this monster in the conventional way, Connor Rainsong and Mathis still need all the help they can get crafting weapons to take on the fight! Otherwise, be brave and fight well!

Just when things were looking bleakest, a few intrepid people have managed to pull together and start dealing damage to the creature now threatening Subeta. She seems to be retreating for now, but we\'ve had reports of Subetans hearing her scream \'I\'ll be back!\' so it\'s likely that she is taking time to rejuvenate. If you are not able to help battle this monster in the conventional way when she inevitably returns, Connor Rainsong and Mathis still need all the help they can get crafting weapons to take on the fight!

With a final surge of the swirling mists, some kind of alpha spirit has emerged. Experts from all over Subeta are teaming up to take on this new threat, but they seem to be doing minimal damage.

Chaos on Subeta as spirits continue to pour from the heart of the gathering mist. This weather phenomenon, centered around the South Seas, remains unexplained and is believed to be of supernatural origin.
Connor Rainsong, the councilor for Shadowglen who has been investigating the odd events around Subeta had this to say:
“What? How did you get in her-r-r-re? I’m wor-r-r-rking on it!â€

The disturbed spirits that have been causing chaos all over Subeta are finally coming under control, thanks to the dedicated efforts of a brave few that have unearthed and performed ancient traditions.
However, a new threat may be at hand! Earlier today, our meteorologist discovered an unusual weather event taking place. From a shroud of inexplicably thick mist, a new spirit appeared, and this one doesn’t seem to be appeased by the offerings.
Note: You may have guessed it already, but just so you can begin preparations, there will be a WORLD BOSS tonight released at around 11pm. The World Boss will have multiple stages, and there will be breaks in between. There will be a way for non-battlers to participate. We'll be able to give estimations of further times of release after the initial stage is defeated. - Subetateam

Pete got more efficient! As long as you score at least ten points playing Pete says, he can now make a spirit offering food basket for every five points.
For example:
You score 10, Pete makes 2 spirit offerings.
You score 20, Pete makes 4 spirit offerings.
You score 5, Pete makes 0 spirit offerings.
Make sure to send your scores to count toward the community goal! Submitted scores beyond ten per day count toward the goal.
You must be completely caught up in the Faded Memories event to participate in the spirit offering goals.
This is just a reminder that user-submitted content, including both custom items and custom overlays, cannot be submitted if they were drawn by users that are now frozen. This includes if you commission them off-site -- they are still considered frozen users on-site and we are unable to accept these items.
This topic is going to stay locked because I don't want anyone to get in trouble for discussing frozen users! But keep in mind this is to protect your account as much as it is to protect Subeta from a legal standpoint :) thanks for your understanding, everyone!

I’ve spent a lot of time tr-r-rying to make heads or-r tails of this book, but it’s no use, we’r-r-re going to have to get it tr-r-ranslated. I talked to the Element Mage but he says he specializes in Ancient Saher-r-ric and doesn’t recognize this dialect at all!
It wasn’t a total waste, though! He pointed me to towar-r-rd Alexander-r-r at the Centr-ropolis Public Libr-rar-ry. He has access to all kinds of ancient texts and is quite a collector-r-r fr-rom what I under-r-r-rstand.

Hey again, buddy. I’ve hit a bit of a hitch in our plan - I can’t find Master-r-r Skelly anywher-r-re. I’ve called him a dozen times and asked ar-r-r-round, and it seems that no one has seen him in months! I even tr-r-ried to visit unannounced, but the gate was locked up tight.

It’s Connor RÂrÂrrainsong, the councilor for, Shadowglen. Something about this sudden outbreak of fatigue rÂrÂreminds me of something I rÂread once.
Reports are coming in about attacks all over Subeta resulting in a strange illness that causes extreme tiredness and an unusual pallor for its victims. Some of those that have contracted this illness report that they may have been attacked by an invisible entity, and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to the location or frequency of attacks. We’ve contacted experts with the Phoenix Administration and the SAI, but have not yet received a response.
