We are currently working on fixing the cron.



The cron is what powers the time-based functions around the site. This includes the potion lottery, and quests resetting.



I hope to have this fixed within the next hour.

There has been a small update to the Achievement System! Now you can earn Forum Titles. You can change your title here.



Some achievements give titles, and more are being updated (the harder ones!) to have them. If you notice that one of the achievements you've already earned has a title prize, you can go here to update your title list.

Hello all!



Just a heads up that we will be performing some database maintenance today in order to reclaim some disk space back.



This might result in a few 5 minute periods where the site is down today, culminating in a downtime window sometime in the early am either tonight or tomorrow when we actually swap in the new database.



We're doing this to give us some breathing room in our free disk space and ensure the site stays fast!

Although the crew of The Freyalise is still on their journey to bring the girls home to safety and the Islanders are heading to their home, each faction has sent a liaison ahead to thank their friends for the efforts put forth in fighting for their cause. Make sure you stop by to collect your prizes soon, as the authorities in Delphi have only authorized these shops to be open for a short time.

Staff Only Items

This note is for anyone who adds or edits items! There is an option for making items Staff Only within the admin panel when creating or editing items. It is preferred to use this radio option rather than manually typing in the rarity to ensure it is done properly. I have noticed some items that were meant to be staff only that were mistakenly noted at r400 or even r200. If we use this radio bubble properly, we will make fewer mistakes.

Please be careful! The bubble for the option you are choosing is on its left, not its right. The bubble to the right of Level 1 (Staff Only) is for Project Shogun, essentially a point of no return.

I would like for all NPC items we can think of to be marked as Level 1 (Staff Only) as soon as possible. I have gone through NPC avatar items, but unfortunately, I do not know the names of all of the battle NPC items. Help in this area would be appreciated.

The story of the day is that the war has ended! As the seas begin to grow more and more restless, the crew of The Freyalise has decided to turn back toward the shores of Delphi to get Emma, Charity and Amy back to land safely, thus ending the war. Although it looks like a retreat on the part of the pirates, my sources have told me that the Islanders have been defeated, despite putting up an excellent fight.



It has been rumored that both Captain Jacques and High Priest Kahaleitzli have rewards planned for the soldiers who fought valiantly at their sides. Channel 5 will keep up with this and any details as the story continues to develop, as always.

Tribal leader, High Priest Kahaleitzli, recently agreed to issue a statement to us regarding the final offering that has created such a stir.

Just a few small updates. The Restock War now gives you more points depending on the rarity of item you are restocking. Higher rarity items give more points. The item must still be at least rarity 45 to count.



And there is now a place to get your facepaint removed.

War broke out today in the Omen Islands between the native Islanders and the neighboring pirates, following the kidnapping of Emma, Charity and Amy from Islander festivities. The captain of The Freyalise, User not found: captain jacques claims that these girls were kidnapped for their own safety to prevent them from being a Final Offering to an Avatar of the Sea at the end of the Islander's ritual. The leader of the Islanders, User not found: kahaleitzli has stated that these claims are unappreciated and untrue, citing out their hospitality in welcoming outsiders to their sacred festival as evidence of their innocence.



Unable to reconcile their differences, the two have waged war on one another and urge all members of Subeta to aid them in their fight, not only by battling in hand-to-hand combat, but also by crippling the enemy's stock of supplies by buying up as many items as possible from all of Subeta's shops. The more items bought by one faction will spell certain doom for soldiers of the other, causing them to starve, run out of weapons, or go broke trying to afford their supplies at such inflated prices!



A booth has been set up in Delphi for all those interested to declare their allegiance for the Islanders or the Pirates. User not found: kahaleitzli has stated that those who wish to continue the celebration with his people may do so on the shores of the Omen Islands, only.



Channel 5 News will continue to cover this story as it develops and would like to let the families of Emma, Charity and Amy know that our thoughts are with them in this terrible time.

In a followup to my recent reporting, I have obtained an interview with User not found: kahaleitzli, holy man and leader of the Omen Islands.

Today's top story: They thought they were safe while visiting the Omen Islands for the festival, but it seems that Amy, Emma and Charity have all been kidnapped from the festivities by the ragtag crew of The Freyalise, the very same pirates who invaded the island celebration only two nights ago.



Channel 5 managed to get a hold of the captain of The Freyalise, Fishbreath Jacques, who had this to say:

Disaster struck late yesterday evening when the Omen Island's Festival was savagely attacked by a raucous pirate crew! Their motives are unknown, but they have been very adamant that everyone should leave the islands as soon as possible.



We spoke with tribal leader and high priest, User not found: kahaleitzli:

"This ragtag group has shared the islands with us for some time - They have a hidden port here, and we have been unable to smoke them out despite our best efforts. It seems that it is their delight to harass us at every turn, even on high holy days. What a disgusting display."

Pirate User not found: captain jacques could not be reached for comment at this time.

Nothing really happens in August, does it? It's basically the most boring month of the year. No fun holidays unless you've found that secret island that just randomly moves around the Subeta map.



No celebrations, no jubilees, really, nothing. It's just really hot. Really, really hot. And humid. You can't forget the humidity! Hot and humid. That is August.
