I voted yes, because I'll always support Subeta having high quality art on view, but the new fester doesn't actually appeal to me. The old one didn't either so I suppose it's not a big deal, maybe I would never have been a Fester owner either way! -but I think it's the expression and angle of the head which don't seem quite right to me.

It's much better art but doesn't really look like a Fester at all to me.
The chest compared to the legs makes it look too front-heavy and as if it might topple over, I'm not sure how the bird would balance without a substantially bigger tail. I think the talon claws are a bit too overgrown/curled too, I keep getting the urge to get claw clippers out on it.
The new colour is cool but would probably be better suited to a Twilight version or something.

...why do I suddenly fear for the GY Fester being revamped. :(
I love the revamp, though. My only complaint (since I'm not really familiar with a bird's anatomy) is that the new one is missing the personality the old one has. If it could somehow be done so that the old one's personality is kind of integrated with the new, I think that would make this revamp all the more better.

The artwork overall on the new Fester looks neat. I definitely think it needs a revamp.
I wish its neck was slightly longer. Also, I'm not sure I like the color of the head matching the color of its body.
But those are my only concerns. I'm loving the head-feathers. I never really liked that green mohawk!

- Colors, this looks more Twilight than common.
- Wings, the back wing needs to be picked up a bit more. The perspective is off if the wing tips are hitting lower than his own feet. Plus, it looks a little too stiff. I'd expect the wings to be curved out a bit more, similar to the curve of the original Fester's back wing.
- Face, he needs the smirk. It's the Fester's personality trait!
- Tail, just a tad bit longer or more splayed out. Looks too short to be a good flight stabilizer, and buzzards are known to be power-fliers.
Love, love the mohawk as is, though!
I like the new Fester, but I think it needs that sort of evil expression the old one has.
i love the new art, but i loved the cocky attitude of the old one... i also really liked the "mohawk", now it's more pushed back.. i guess i feel like the fester went from all cool and badass to angry and dark and "elegant". :( i wish we could keep its personality! otherwise it looks great.

I better like the old one, primarly because the new look too realistic and 'hard' in the shape and colours.
I agree with mosts of Shalashaska thoughts aswell.
I was never a fan of the long bald neck, even though it's pretty much a trademark of the Fester.
Right now the Fester Revamp reminds me more of a feathered dinosaur, and not of a bird of prey.

User not found: ketshi is right, it does look more like an eagle than anything else. I don't mind this, vultures and eagles are both super awesome, and I've love to have a bird of prey species around. :D
All my love to the new fester. It looks so much better. I also prefer the colour scheme. Most pet's common colour is similar to another basic colour. The common and dusk chelon, the common and cream celinox, the common and gold torrent, the common and field swampie, the common and lilac dillemma...I could go on. I'm sure the twilight fester will look great with some dark purples, or maybe another colour.
Anyway, fantastic job on the art here. Such a huge improvement on the species. I can't wait to see the more unique colours revamped.

It doesn't look very much like a condor or vulture to me... This revamp, with its feathers, colors, and beak shape makes me think more "harpy eagle". Is that the intention?
I honestly like the old Fester's cartoony style better, but vultures will never be a very popular pet. Perhaps changing its species to one that's more attractive is better for Festers in the long run.

I have always loved the Fester, sod's law I got rid of Frigate just the other day XD now I'll need to get a new Fester at sometime.

The right wing tip droops below the foot, and thus either into the floor or into the foreground, but since the rest of the wing doesn't show any indication of turning around the body it just looks like it's going into the floor.

The left wing, like with the Lain I can see it drooping down towards the ground =< which to me makes the bird look like it has a broken wing, I'd REALLY like to see the wings brought up and back, which is more typical in birds as it keeps the feathers out of the way and off the ground, birds need those feathers they're not going to be dragging them around.

I don't care for the face at all; it looks mean rather than rebellious and challenging like the original. Give him a little smirk, please, and some more of the original personality if possible?
I like the idea of making his mohawk more feather-like, but I'd like it better if it were more of a compromise between the new and old. That is, stylized so that it still fell forward towards the beak a little bit, maintaining a wild look, but applied so that it fits with the new more realistic and intense look.
I'd also like to see the feet with more shading and definition, and the wings to look more powerful and proportionately sized to his body. I know that it's stylized, but they don't look strong or large enough to enable flight at all. The original is more cartoony but the way the wings are folded do a better job of expressing their size. Know what I mean?

DEFINITELY an improvement, however, I agree with @Meister - the original color scheme would look a bit better as this one(while lovely <3) looks a bit too close to Twilight colored. :)
I love the (possible) change. I think the old fester sorta looks like a toy and the new possibility looks a lot more like a pet. I do think it looks a bit too gloomy for the 'common' form though. I wouldn't mind it's head feathers being more reddish or the paws and beak to have an actual colour.
I also adore the new colours, even if they're not realistic for vultures xD

Brown might work better for the common...but no bright green hair please! I do really love the colors/art update on it though. I do agree this might clash with twilight a little? Unless its made to be obviously much much different.
I personally adore the new color scheme, much, much better than the strange neon green clashing with the brown.

Wow, the new one is beatuiful! But... it just doesn't look like a Fester. I just it's too pretty? I don't know but I'm voting for the classic, as nice as the new artwork is.

I like the new version's style infinitely better than the old one. However I think the colors should be closer to the original... minus the original's green hair tuft. The color for the revamped version would be perfect for a twilight fester.
