Angelic Pets: Cure for the Blues






Well, the Luminaire Tree has (hopefully) long since been put away, and you might be thinking something is missing! No twinkling lights, no fairies, no gingerbread, no happy angel tree-toppers...

Blank Wardrobe
The blank wardrobe bug has been patched; it is likely you will need to clear your cache to get the fix!



Edit:
It looks like there's a problem with memcache right now that I'm unable to fix. Unrelated to the original bug (which is fixed; if your wardrobe isn't loading at all it's not the same thing, it's lag caused by this cache problem), but I'm unable to take care of it on my own.. it hopefully shouldn't be too long until Keith gets home and can fix it!

Giveaway!




Thank you everyone for being patient yesterday while the site was down. We\'re still working out some kinks but for the most part we seem to have chased away the majority of the bugs! The wardrobe is the biggest issue at the moment, and we hope to have that resolved soon.



In the meantime, why not head over to the Free Shop where there are a few cool things floating around ;)!

Site Downtime PT2
Hi everyone! The scheduled downtime we had scheduled for the morning (Thursday) has been moved to Friday at 1AM Subeta time.



Sorry for the confusion, I know we keep moving the dates but we are trying to ensure that we have the least amount of downtime possible. This downtime is for us to move our database processing to a new system and we're working with that vendor extensively in the moving process and finding a time that we can coordinate (and the least amount of users are online!) has been difficult.



This will hopefully be the last time that we move the date!

We are going to be taking the site down on Tuesday the 15th at 1AM Subeta Time to do some server maintenance. We hope to have the site up by 5AM but there is a chance that it will take longer.



We will be moving our entire database to a new cluster of servers that will allow us to grow and speed the site up!

Newbie Boosters!
Nearly all of the weaker opponents now have special loot that can boost the stats of your pets! But, they only work on pets in tier 3 or lower! Also, they are untradeable, so they\'re only for you to use. Have fun leveling your pets up to the higher tiers!

Another Battle Update!




We have a couple more battle changes to announce! First, Buttwing Bomber, Oslyae the Amazonian Montre, Tide, Mephysto, Felibot 1.0.1, and Ice King all drop new weapon loot on your fifth win!

Lightbulb Nunchucks




Second, with the exception of Aboxalypse, Duqinox, and Forj Matriarch, the Dormant, all opponents formerly classified as easy and medium (from Arnold to Tide on the challenger page) now also drop a special egg on your fifth win against them! These eggs are stat boosters that can only be used by pets in Tier 1 through Tier 3. There are five different eggs to earn!



EDIT: The egg boosters can now be fed to your pets as well! We're looking into adding more options for them in the near future.

Wins on all of these opponents have been reset so that everyone has a chance to earn the new loot. Head over to the Battle Coliseum and get yourself some new items!

EXP Cost Change!




For those of you who don\'t follow the battle forum hashtag: Experience costs have changed! The price to increase stats now scales with your pet. But don\'t worry, costs are capped at the previous prices -- you\'ll pay less if you have a smaller pet, but the same as before if your pet is Tier 10 or higher. Go forth and battle!

New Years changes!
2013 will be another big year for the BC! To start things off, the EXP costs to buy stats for your pets now scales with their tier!

Hi, everyone! What a terrible shock that was, am I right? It looks like that poor, crazed fairy absorbed too much magic and came down with a terrible case of magical poisoning. I guess we all saw the results of that!



I am thrilled to report that this story has a happy ending, though! It seems that the snow fairies are feeling much better, and have been able to reabsorb a lot of the raw magic that was floating around, including some from that poor fairy. She's recovering here at the medical station, and hopefully she will be back to her old self in no time.



Thank you to everyone for helping to bring about a Lumineve miracle. I know that heroes need no reward, but please accept a few things from me, and from Vanya, to show our gratitude.

Corrosive Research Notes




Each month in 2013, there will be a separate Cash Shop item that matches our monthly collection's theme. This item will unlock a new challenger in the Battle Coliseum! The item to unlock each challenger will only be on sale for one month, but once unlocked, the challenger will stay in your opponent list forever. There will be a challenger for each of the 12 tiers (in random order) throughout the year, and each challenger will drop a weapon suitable for its tier. The first opponent is for Tier 1. Have fun collecting them all!
