Push the meat in, grind it up, make the sausage. Push it in, grind it up, make the sausage. Year after year. People want this, I give it to them. Supply and demand. Keeps me busy. Stops me thinking. Sounds of bleating. What is that? Oatmeal? In my life, every day, feed him, care for him, share my life with him. I love that goat, I could never eat THAT goat. Why is he so different to the others? Why was my brother so like the others that I could do that? No. Don't think about him. You're a different person now. You've changed, you've shown that, you don't want to hurt anymore. Stay away from the meat, away from the killing, I mean slaughtering. If you don't do that then you're a good person, right? Fight against that, fight against that and they'll never know.

The room is brightly lit and smells metallic. Hooks dangle from the ceiling, red stains surround the huge drains on the floor. Somebody is laughing, a deep bellowing laugh that you've heard before, but it hasn't been so sinister as this. The laughter turns to screams. The fearful bleating of a beloved pet goat, mixed with the screams of man. A man that did not want to die. A secret hidden away from everyone. You can't run from it anymore.

Summer is here, my liebchens, und look at this sunshine! There's nothing I like more than sharing food, drink und good times with old friends und new friends under ze sun, ja? I am very excited this year because I am getting to see you early, und also because I am finally able to really turn over ze new leaf und go full vegan! Saying goodbye to my old ways was tough, but rewarding. It was ze right time for me, und even if it isn't ze right time for you to make ze full switch or being vegan isn't something you're into or able to do, I hope you'll come und enjoy some new foods und ideas during this festival.

A new leaf requires a new name, ja, so I'd like to welcome you all to celebrate Neugarten with me! I’ll be grilling up hot food und vegan ale und beer over at Gunter's Grill, und two others from ze vegan community are joining me to sell some awesome vegan products. Manwar from ze Trading Card Center is here selling many packaged vegan ingredients und replacements, from non-dairy milks to his favorite hummus recipes, und Rumi from Stick it to ze Man! is here selling various Fashion und Lifestyle items. Just a taste of vegan life right now, hopefully, next year we can come back bigger und even better!

Friendly Thursday: Gunter
"Liebchens, I am very busy with getting my summer project ready, ja! I hope you are coming to enjoy it with me. Don't be scared with ze lack of meat sausage, it's still very tasty and will put all ze hair on your chest!"

Gunter is an overtly cheerful sort of man, taking to whatever he does with a large amount of gusto. You may not think a man such as this would ever have a dark side, and Gunter would hate you to believe such a thing. He's always one to pour you a beer on the house if you're looking down, or cheer you up with a good joke. If it's an act he's putting on, it's a good one.

Of course there is something that really gets Gunter's goat. If you can find out what it is and unlock Gunter as a challenger be prepared for a match to rival your strongest drinking game. He doesn't like to lose.
