This pet is named after my husband's and my mother. Story by me.

Hello, my name is Alma Marie Holmes. I am named after my grandmothers. Like all of TracyH's pets, I have a Mothers Day Memorial Frame so I can look at our Grandmothers often. Our grandmothers were like the city mouse and the country mouse.

One grew up in country and one grew up in the city. They both moved to a small town with their husband's work and it was at the company picnic where their children met. Now Mama, Tracy, she raises us at the Lake Resort. It is a lovely place.

When I am not working I like to grow roses. Both of my grandmothers adored roses. I have taken some of my roses to the fairgrounds and I have won lots of blue ribbons. Red roses are my favorite.

When we were discussing how we would design the Memorial Frame we decided on a gold frame and red roses. It turned out really well. Don't you think?

The people who own the resort are really impressed with my roses and have my picture up in the office. I am very proud of that.

Oh, don't let me forget to mention my Patches. She guards my treasure chest. She looks just like the cat Mama used to have.I hope you enjoy the roses in my treasure chest I may have other flowers on occasion as I love all flowers.

Mama changed me to glade. I think it suits me. Do you agree?

I used to work at the Candy Shack with Troy and Dickie, but I decided to go to work with Hyrum at Seedlings. Hoping I can learn more and more about horticulture and plants.
