Basically, over 3,000 items have been added to the Auction center, each going to end in 4-5 days! Go, and find some items that you enjoy, and start the bidding wars :)

The Millionaire Center has negotiated 3 of these rare weapons into it's warehouses, and has started selling them for 60,000,000sP each.
Saggitarius is said to hold the powerful Lucent, but how you get it from him isn't known...
The Token Shop has the Aemis in stock..

The Accessory Bin has just gotten in some stylish new hipscarves at bargain prices. Don't be a square and get jiggy with the latest fashion trend.
It would seem that Experiments 1102 and 56192 are quite jealous of all the attention our normal pets have been getting, so they've gotten all spiffed up in the hopes that you'll bring one home, should you get one from the Zapper v2 in Ziara City. They have no sympathy for the pretty celinox or feli that you zap trying to get to them, of course.

Because we go live in August (The first), and I still have a LOT of preparation I need to do, NONE of which I can do until we all reach a consensus on several currently up for debate issues. Also, I'm STILL on vacation, so this greatly limits how long in a day I can work.
Some examples:
Trophies: 1 a month vs 6 a month.
Priceset: A, B, C, or further suggestions
Packages: The ability to purchase specific items via packages, or keep it random via bags?
Past charities: Show the users all the past charities we've done (and how much we've raised), or only back a select few months?
Etc
SO. Tomorrow (July 25) we will be having a meeting at 8 PM EST in the IRC, #SubetaStaff, to discuss this. We have to do this in IRC mainly because Kandi NEEDS to be there, and her AIM is seriously messed up.

The Book Nook has just received two rather magical new works... one is educational in nature, now you can do something about all of those unwanted pests hanging about! The other contains recipes for some rather unusual new culinary taste treats! Mmmm, candy coated bat wings, anyone? Or perhaps a nice, piping hot plate of lizard's gizzards? Now THAT'S eatin'!

Scientists off the coast of Delphi Beach have spotted the Chibi Tutani, and now their logs are riddled with words like "cute", "ickle", "precious", and "darling". What a bunch of sissies.
The brewers of the Potion of Purity have put another round of them in the Millionaire Center. Of course, like last time, there is (very) limited supply :)
The Blackheart Hollow has replenished the stock of it's most prized items.

Those of you using V2 profiles will be pleased to know there is a new profile block to add, Human Avatars.
This block shows your avatar, and if you choose, the items its wearing (and links to the shop search, to help out your friends!)

Attention Traders!
We'd like to remind all of our members to be careful when using the Trades. Here are a few helpful tips to make sure you don't accidentally fall victim to a trick or innocent mistake:
1. Make sure the offer isn't missing a zero. If you are asking for 1,000,000 sP on an item, check to ensure that you aren't being offered 100,000 sP instead.
2. Check to make sure that the sP amount has been typed into the actual sP box and not the Message box.
3. If you are trading your item for other items, double-check the value of the items in the offer. It's not always safe to take the other user's word on the value; just because someone tells you that their Pink Bobber (for example) is rare and valuable doesn't mean it's true!
If you feel that someone has intentionally scammed you, be sure to report the user to an appropriate member of staff.
PROFILES V2 finally work again :)! You can update your profiles, add videos, make blank sections, etc! They should all work, 100%. Expect a few new (avatar related) sections released in the next few days.
MySQL Error: Some people are experiencing a MySQL error while trying to update their profile, via the edit page of their profiles. In this case, we suggest you use the Edit Profile page of your preferences until this is all fixed up. :)
(Yes, I used a completely irrelevant image of Nori from the Cursed Quests because she looks amazing now. Also, the prizes are a little better there now too. Seriously.)
UPDATE: OKAY. I'm pretty sure this is the last time I'm going to reuse this post, I promise. Profiles are no longer clearing (that includes from the preferences page) for anyone, and so it's safe to use that if you're getting the MySQL error. CSS now works fine, you just have to Resubmit your coding (on either page) and it should be fine :)

IMPORTANT NOTICE.
Trading pets is no longer allowed.
It was tested for a while, and it is obvious that it creates too much of a problem. Pets are not currency, and should not be traded as such. This rule is effective immediately. All trading posts will be locked, and in one week, attempting to trade will become a warnable offense.
Rustling has been heard from the treetops since trepid explorers first landed on the unchartered island, but whatever was there was gone long before anyone could see it...
That is, until now.
We've had news from our lead explorer that a new species has been found! Dr. Manchu has named the species after himself - and sends us this picture.

It would seem that the people at the Beach Shack heard your pets whining that they hadn't gotten anything new lately, and that you were spending too much time shopping for clothes. They encourage you to buy your pet a few of their new beach toys and take them out for a nice sunny day!
What's this? It seems as though Defend and Conquer has had a bit of a shipment error...all of these angelic puff wings have been dyed different colors!

At Subeautique, Subeta's premiere fashion shop, excitement is stirring once again.
Designer Eddie Bell has returned to the forefront with the juicy (and slightly hairy) new Sophistikiwi line. Watch out for seeds, dahling.
Then comes ZombieCrossing with Hungry Flora--a word of caution to all you potted-plant afficionados out there who skimp on the plant food.
Last (but certainly not least) is the glamourous new Peacock line by Sougara. No vain birds were harmed in the making of these clothes--whether that fact can be considered a good or bad thing is up to the buyer.
As a final note, the UnicornVomit, Radhas, Pinstripe Bill, Poison, and Zodiak lines have sadly been discontinued--but such is the way of high fashion, and nevertheless the show must go on. (NOTE: These sets are discontinued, not retired. There just will not be any more sets in these designer lines.)

Vending Machine Update!
The Vending Machines have been updated, all around Subeta! All vending machines have been given brand new items, including those hard-to-get DP items from months ago!
Also, a new vending machine has appeared in the Graveyard, the Grave Digger Vending Machine.
And word is, Merana summoned the creators of the Vending Machines to her island, and made them create one that gives out amazing items... someone should investigate :)

Mysterious beasts have appeared--powerful felines who hold dominion over the winds. They are the Archan, and they have protected Subeta's holy grounds just out of our sight since the dawning of time.
No one knows for certain what has drawn them away from their ancient duty, but they sense that many people will be in need of guardians in the near future...
